As revealed last week, Coles’ latest promotion that rewards shoppers with bonus collectables for shopping has arrived, and it’s going to be a hectic one because this time it’s Pokémon. Starting today, Coles shoppers can get a bonus Coles Builder Pokémon Edition for every $30 spent at Coles supermarkets or through Coles Online.
There are 35 of these plastic-free, miniature cardboard standees to collect featuring a bunch of first-generation classics and a handful of iconic newer Pokémon, including Pikachu, Ditto, Gengar and more. Interestingly, the downloadable Collector’s Guide doesn’t seem to list Mewtwo, although that Pokémon does show up in the instructional videos and Coles says a “limited edition Builder” will become available, so that looks to be it.
Of course, Coles is also offering up additional merch for frenzied collectors to pick up alongside their 100% FSC-certified cardboard figurines, including a Collector Case and a Pokémon Playset that features a diorama backdrop to display your Pokémon Builders on and comes with Pikachu and Squirtle included. There are also some non-collectable-related goodies like kids headphones and fleece blankets, if that’s your thing.
The promotion ends on March 26th, so there’s plenty of time to try and nab every one of these.
