Following today’s first round of the Capcom Highlights showcase, which gave us fresh looks at both Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Capcom has announced it’s treating gamers everywhere to a small taste of Dragon’s Dogma 2 that’s available to download and play today.
Unfortunately, it’s not a playable demo version of the game as folks were holding out for, but instead you’ll be able to download the game’s character creator ahead of time and craft your Arisen and Pawns to bring across to the full game when it releases on March 22nd.
Capcom also announced that it’ll be launching “Official Pawns” by various creators around the world, which players will be able to bring into their own games. These pawns will be special in that they’ll have no Rift Crystal cost when hiring them up to level 10 and will come with set equipment that can’t be changed. Some of the creators with Official Pawns will include Maximilian, FightinCowboy and Krysta, and you can see the full list here.
