Freeplay’s iconic Parallels independent games festival is back for its 10th iteration on the very appropriate date of October 10th, 2024, and with early bird tickets having just gone on sale, the first of the line-up of Aussie developers bringing their incredible titles along for the nation’s nerdiest round of Show and Tell has been revealed.
This year’s event is also going big, moving from its usual venue at ACMI to the Melbourne Town Hall, which will house not only the exciting series of speakers but new features that include a showcase of playable games, live DJs, plant based finger food and a local drink selection.
The event has teed up the release of its early bird tickets with the announcement of five of the ten speakers set to appear, promising to announce the other half once main ticket sales kick off next month. The speakers announced so far are:
