The most unique announcement of today’s Super Mario themed Nintendo Direct was without doubt Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.
It’s a brand new Mario Kart game for Nintendo Switch in which you race against opponents using a physical kart around your house. The kart responds to in-game boosts and the real world and will stop when hitting an item. The kart also looks to have a camera on it, which is how it makes its way around your house, recognising surroundings.
You can create a custom layout in your house using the parts included in the kit, race against Koopalings in Gran Prix mode and unlock skins to customise courses and costumes. The game also has multiplayer for up-to four people.
The game will be releasing on October 16th for $149.95. You’ll be able to buy the set in either a Mario or Luigi set.
