LEGO and Nintendo have announced six new LEGO Super Mario sets coming on January 1st next year.
The new products include five expansions sets, a new “Creativity Toolbox” and a sixth series of character packs – which includes everyone’s favourite, Birdo!
Ranging from $24.99 to $99.99, the additions to the LEGO Super Mario universe encompass a wide variety of recognisable locales and characters, but probably the most exciting of the lot is the Creativity Toolbox Maker Set which is designed to let fans get creative and customise existing LEGO Super Mario levels or just make their own creations and displays for LEGO Super Mario characters.
The new sets and prices are as follows:
- LEGO Super Mario 71414 Conkdor’s Noggin Bopper Expansion Set – AU$24.99
- LEGO Super Mario 71415 Ice Mario Suit and Frozen World Expansion Set – AU$39.99
- LEGO Super Mario 71416 Lava Wave Ride Expansion Set – AU$49.99
- LEGO Super Mario 71417 Fliprus Snow Adventure Expansion Set – AU$99.99
- LEGO Super Mario 71418 Creativity Toolbox Maker Set – AU$89.99
- LEGO Super Mario 71419 Peach’s Garden Balloon Ride Expansion Set – AU$79.99 (not listed for sale on lego.com but revealed here)
