Out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced a new Bayonetta spin-off at The Game Awards 2022, with the top down, puzzle-solving, dungeon crawler-esque Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.
It’s coming to Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2023, and it certainly looks like an interesting departure from the mainline series:
Turn back the pages of the Umbra Witch’s story to learn where it all began. Take control of Cereza and her first demon Cheshire to fend off faeries and solve puzzles in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.
