UPDATE: EB Games has just listed both the Collector’s Edition and Special Edition for $249.95 and $119.95 respectively, but these are both placeholder prices. Definitely pre-order if you’re looking to grab the Collector’s Edition, as it will likely sell out.
Alongside the announcement of the release date, Sony also announced that Spider-Man would be getting both a Collector’s Edition and Deluxe Edition. We’re still waiting on Australian release details, but here’s what we know so far.
DIGITAL DELUXE VERSION
The Digital Deluxe version of the game will include the standard edition of the game as well as a new story in post-launch DLC. It’s called ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ and will be three brand new chapters with new missions, villains, characters and additional suits for Spider-Man.
With the Collector’s Edition, you’ll get all of the content from the digital deluxe edition, as well as a Steelbook case featuring white spidey. You’ll also get a Mini Artbook as well as a Spider-Man statue. They’re not revealing the statue just yet, but they will be lifting the lid on it in the next few months. There’s also some digital goodies in the form of a Spidey-Suit pack, which will come with a gadget, PSN avatar and an original PS4 theme.
