Sony has just announced ‘State of Play’ which is essentially its own series of livestreams (think Nintendo Direct or Inside Xbox) that will take place throughout the year to bring updates on everything PlayStation.
The first is taking place on Tuesday (March 26th) at 8am AEDT and will bring an update from upcoming PS4 and PlayStation VR games including new trailers, new game announcements and new gameplay footage. You can watch live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter or Facebook.
With Sony recently announcing they had opted out of E3, this provides a little bit more clarify around their decision to do that, with them obviously wanting to have more controlled messaging more often throughout the year.
