Following today’s news that six games released early in Australia today, we have now confirmed with two separate Australian retailers that AFL Evolution 2 is moving to an online only release. This means that starting tomorrow, you’ll only be able to order the game online and have it to delivered to your home. This doesn’t count for anyone who had previously pre-ordered the game. A digital release is also assumed to be happening as originally planned on the PlayStation Store/Xbox Store.
I would expect that based on this information and the fact that both retailers and distributors are trying to push game releases as early as possible, a new release date (which I’m assuming will be earlier than the already announced April 23rd release date) is on the way and I’d expect that to be announced in the near future.
I wouldn’t expect the Nintendo Switch release date to change, which now has a date of May 14th.
