Fall Guys

The First Fall Guys Update Will Bring A New Final Round Minigame With The Worst One Appearing Less

The Fall Guys team has announced the first update for the game, which will be rolling out later today.

Jump Showdown is a new final round minigame that would be familiar to those that played the beta on PC. It’s a variation of Jump Club that sees the same two pillars rotating around a circle, with segments falling out beneath you.

With the addition of this final round mode, Royal Rumble, which is the minigame where the person left with a tail wins, will be served less. Many people feel that this is the worst final round mini game as there’s still some glitches with the tail grabbing system.

The other updates include:

  • Fixed crash at launch with certain regional calendars set in the operating system
  • Improved messaging for matchmaking and server issues
  • Fixed physics behaving erratically at high framerates on levels like Tip Toe
  • Fixed crown in Fall Mountain not being grabbable in rare situations
  • Addressed some collisions in Block Party allowing players to bypass the blocks
  • Fixed Parties sometimes failing due to too many requests
  • Addressed some special characters causing display issues in player names
  • Fixed Big Tease achievement not unlocking in specific regions
  • PC Only: fixed certain game controller models not being detected on PC
