The Last Of Us Part II Update

The Last Of Us Part II Is Getting Cheats, Filters, Film Grain Removal & Mirrored, Permadeath And Grounded Modes

The Last Of Us Part II’s first major update is coming on Thursday in the form of update 1.05. The update will bring permadeath mode and grounded difficulty, cheats that allow things such as slow motion bullet speed and infinite ammo/crafting/melee, one shot/one hit melee kills. The update brings a number of aesthetic options as well as filter options including an 8-bit filter (as well as many more), the ability to remove or adjust the film grain filter. There’s also a number of audio options such as 4-bit, 8-bit audio, helium audio and Xenon audio.

Two other big gameplay change in the form of being able to make minor aiming adjustments with the DualShock 4. It actually works quite well (Think Uncharted on the Vita) and the ability to mirror the world (or chop and change each time you die).

The grounded difficulty mode removes the HUD, listen mode, makes the enemies tougher and shortens supplies around the map. The peramdeath mode can be used with grounded mode (or any others) and allows you to play the game with permadeath that takes you back to the start of the game, the start of an act or the start of the chapter. You’re also unable to save manually and quitting or exiting the game when in a dangerous position will be treated as a death.
