Demon's Souls Remake

Demon’s Souls Remake Looks To Be Running At 1440p/60FPS With Instant Loading

The good people at Digital Foundry have done a breakdown of the Demon’s Souls Remake trailer that was shown off at the recent PS5 Showcase.

They’ve discovered that the game was running at native 1440p/60FPS, but they go on to state that this was likely a Performance mode, with a 4K graphics mode set to feature in the game. The game doesn’t appear to have ray-tracing, but they note that the leap in technology is noticeable, and the most cutting edge Souls game.

It’s something we already knew, but they note the load times to be about one second, where it was 11 second on the PS3 version, which is obviously going to be important for a game where you’re going to spend the majority of your time dying.
