Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was announced late last year after being rumoured for months and it looks like the release isn’t too far away. Two retailers have listed the game for March 12th, 2021 which makes sense given it was rumoured to release in late 2020 originally.

Just as a reminder, the Legendary Edition contains Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. It will include newly remastered visuals including new textures, shaders, models and effects optimised for 4K, an improved frame rate and forward compatibility for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

I’m definitely keen to replay the games again with new visuals. It’ll be a great way to jump in before the next iteration in the series releases.
