Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Release Date Has Been Revealed And Here’s A New Trailer

Following its out-of-nowhere announcement four months ago, Aliens: Fireteam has re-emerged as Aliens: Fireteam Elite. The kicker? It’s out in less than two months. Aliens: Fireteam Elite releases on the 24th August 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The game is a third-person shooter where you’ll buddy up with two other mates to take on hordes of Xenomorph. They’ll be scurrying everywhere – the walls, the floor, the ceiling – and there are heaps of different types too. There are even Weyland-Yutani synthetic enemies too.

Fireteam Elite plays out as a series of missions that expand on (presumably) the first two films, given the title and location. I even spotted some engineer locations in there which is exciting for anyone who’s watched any of the films.

The trailer showcases a few of the new types of Xenomorph that you’ll be finding in Fireteam Elite too – so have a watch below:

It looks juicy.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite releases on the 24th August 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Local release details have yet to be confirmed, but it’s safe to assume they’ll be around the same time. It’s priced appropriately too, coming in at the US$39.99 price point.
