Multiple sources are corroborating a leak that suggests that Warner Bros is currently working on a crossover fighter in the same space as Super Smash Bros.
The post appeared on Reddit a few days ago, and has been backed up by industry insider Jeff Grubb among others, although whilst the original post said that the developer behind Mortal Kombat & Injustice were working on the game, this is not the case.
As far as confirmed characters go, the leak suggested that the below fighters will be in the game:
- Shaggy (Scooby Doo)
- Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
- Tom & Jerry
- Batman
- Fred Flinstone
- Mad Max
- Harry Potter & Ron (maybe removed due to rights)
- Johnny Bravo

Apparently this trademark titled “Multiversus” has to do the with the game which makes sense given it is a fighter set in multiple universes.
The leak went on to say that the game has been in development for some time, so it sounds like we’ll see a reveal later this year at The Game Awards or maybe next year. With Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad & Harry Potter games all set to come out next year, it’s going to be a big few years for WarnerBros.
