After a stellar Chapter 2 end, Fortnite Chapter 3 has now launched with some big changes.
The brand new Chapter introduces a new map which has entirely new locations with a frosty new setting as well as well-known locations such as the Daily Bugle from Spider-Man. Starting on December 11th, you’ll be able to put on Spider-Man’s Web Shooters and swing around and also crawl faster. These will be available to use with any suit, but also with Spider-Man’s iconic suit through the battle pass. For the first time, players can slide around the map, which makes a big difference for quickly getting around the map.
Another new feature is the ability to start camp with your squad. You can throw down a tent to heal up or stash items for use in future matches and the whole squad can access these too.
Those that get a Victory Royale will earn a victory crown which you take into the next match. This will leave you as soon as you don’t win a match, but holding onto it will result in extra XP.
