Last year, Monster Hunter Rise got an unlikely DLC collaboration in the form of Sonic the Hedgehog-themed armour sets and event quests. Now, with the impending release of Sonic Frontiers, the favour is being returned with some special Monster Hunter goodies coming to the game shortly after launch.

The announcement came via official channels today, showing off some special artwork created for the collaboration, followed by some screenshots and further details (courtesy of Gematsu).
The collaboration will contain two special outfits for Sonic, the Rathalos and Felyne Rathalos Armour, as well as a special BBQ pit complete with meat-grilling minigame to earn players buffs in-game. The Monster Hunter DLC will be free when it arrives on November 15th at 12PM AEDT.
Sonic Frontiers releases on November 8th, 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
