Here’s 12 Minutes Of Gorgeous Resident Evil 4 Remake Gameplay Footage

Take me to church.

After recently publishing an in-depth preview that gave us a glimpse into some of the new changes coming to the game, Game Informer has shared a 12-minute video showing off some fantastic-looking gameplay of Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake.

The footage, which you can watch below, comes from the fifth chapter of the game and sees Chris and Ashley attempting to escape from the familiar church as well as the fight in the cabin in the same chapter. We can see some of the other notable updates to the game in the footage, like how conversations with Hunnigan now play out without disrupting gameplay, and though it’s not present in Capcom’s b-roll the team at GI say there’s been at least one new optional area added to the church as well. We also see old mate Luis towards the end.

Naturally, it looks quite handsome from a visual perspective – something we first discovered in our own hands-on at Tokyo Game Show last year.

We played a small portion of Resident Evil 4 ourselves at Tokyo Game Show last year and came away very impressed by how Capcom is playing with the game’s overall tone and atmosphere through cutting-edge visuals while still delivering something faithful for fans.

Resident Evil 4 is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 24, 2023. Amazon has the cheapest pre-order price at $84.99 with free shipping.
