You're gonna need a whole caravan of courage to be on the internet this week.

Brace yourselves, Star Wars fans. It seems as though early copies of the massive new game from EA and Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

It’s unclear as to how some have managed to get the game early, it could be a retailer breaking street date or online orders mistakenly being dispatched/arriving ahead of time, or something else entirely. The bottom line though, is there are spoilers floating around out there so if you’re hoping to go in completely blind we’d absolutely suggest muting as many key words as you can on social media or just throwing your electronic devices into the nearest lake.

EA have also indirectly addressed the existence of early copies of the game by publicly asking players not to spoil anything:

What we do know, is that those people out there with early copies of the game will have been at least slightly delayed by the game’s massive 150GB install size and mandatory downloads for those with the physical disc copy.

We’ll have a review for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor soon, but you can also read our recent hands-on preview of the game where we said, “The game feels familiar but almost entirely unmoored from the trappings of the original, able to strike its own unique visual and mechanical vibe that honours the best of its predecessor but pushes its ideas and characters into far cooler new territory. It can be next to impossible to follow up on a beloved first entry but Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order looks set to stake its claim as the bold, dark and deeply interesting middle chapter of Respawn Entertainment’s own potential Star Wars trilogy.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 28th. The cheapest pre-order is $84 Standard Edition / $114 Deluxe Edition from Amazon with free delivery.
