It Looks Like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Is Being Officially Revealed Very Soon

More leaked intel.

Although the marketing cycle for the next Call of Duty seems to be running much later in the year than we’ve gotten used to, early leaks are doing the work to satisfy impatient fans looking to glimpse at what this year’s title holds.

After longstanding rumours that the new COD is a direct sequel to last year’s Modern Warfare II were all but confirmed by some leaked promotional material, even more new evidence has surface around the official reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – and it looks as though it could be revealed in just a short couple of weeks.

Activision has already stated that it’s going to be revealing the future of Call of Duty in a limited-time event with Call of Duty: Warzone, but data miners have reportedly unearthed the actual date the reveal is happening via references to a banner image within the newest Warzone update, and it points to the big reveal day being very soon on August 17th.

New leaked images of Modern Warfare 3 key art work have also surfaced very recently, one being a clearer render of the main key art featuring Captain Price that was recently leaked by some Monster Energy promotional packaging and another showing an admittedly sick-looking logo of a bright red, double-headed snake passing through a skull accompanied by the game’s logo. It’s the kind of thing I would’ve wanted as a tattoo at age 20 and then would have deeply regretted by age 21. We won’t host those two images ourselves for obvious reasons but you can find them here and here.

The official Call of Duty Twitter X account is having a bit of fun with the leaks, posting the below image and confirming it’ll be sharing more next week – presumably a reveal of the date of the reveal:
