PlayStation held a brand-new state of play showcase this morning, focused on indies, third party titles and PS VR2 games, bringing a decent little 20-ish minute collection of updates, new trailers and announcements.
One of those announcements came by way of a new trailer for the Resident Evil 4 remake’s Separate Ways DLC, a revamped version of the content from the original Resident Evil 4 starring Ada Wong, and the reveal that it’s dropping very soon – next week on September 21st. Capcom has promised another new look at the DLC will be happening in a few days on September 18th as well.
Baby Eagle has been secured. The elusive Amber, however, is a different story. The Separate Ways DLC tells Ada Wong's side of #ResidentEvil4's story. Look forward to an additional gameplay trailer on September 18th. ? pic.twitter.com/i9fNkog0Rx
An update to the game’s free Mercenaries Mode will also be coming on the same day, September 21st, and add Ada Wong and Albert Wesker as playable characters, while Capcom also used the opportunity to show off a new look at the Resident Evil 4 VR Mode for PlayStation VR2, which launches in “Summer.”
