Death Stranding PC Game Pass

Death Stranding Is Officially Coming To PC Game Pass

A big win for the service.

It was almost certain given the teases, but Xbox has now confirmed that Kojima Productions and 505 games are bring Death Stranding to PC Game Pass on August 23rd.

Those playing the game on PC can expect ultrawide mode, photo mode, high frame rates and cross over content from franchises such as Half-Life and Portal.

You’ll also be able to unlock the below items as you play through the game on Game Pass:

• Chiral Gold / Omnireflector “Ludens Mask” Sunglasses (Color Variant)
• Gold and Silver Power Skeleton
• Gold and Silver All-Terrain Skeleton
• Gold and Silver Armor Plate

Obviously it’s still not the game coming to Xbox, but still an incredibly big deal given PlayStation funded of the game originally and it used the Decima engine which was built by a PlayStation studio for Horizon Zero Dawn.

We gave the game an 8/10 in our review and said: “Hideo Kojima has long been a visionary auteur, his feted career stands as proof. With no walls to contain him, he has given birth to Death Stranding. It’s an experience that will be remembered for a long time, from its early hype to the untethered lunacy of its narrative. It’s an art installation of a game that filled me with rage as often as it did joy. It is sweeping in both lustre and purpose, though it wears a few warts on the pleasant, bare bones of a game about deliveries that has no right to be as memorable as it somehow is.”
