The Starfield Xbox Controller And Headset Are Real And Have Appeared In The Wild

Update: These products look to be very real, as they’ve been found out in the wild in stores by a number of different users.

These are presumed to be launching on June 12/13 alongside the Xbox Games Showcase + Starfield Direct. You can see the photos of the controller and headset in retailers from various sources below:

A couple months ago, we saw a potential leak of a new Starfield Edition Xbox Wireless Controller that later became in doubt and was likely a fan creation.

Now, a more trusted source in serial leaker, billbil-kun, has revealed that Microsoft does indeed have a limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller planned in concert with Bethesda’s next giant RPG, and that’s not all that’s seemingly on the way.

According to billbil-kun’s post, both a controller and a Starfield edition Xbox headset are set to be released, and there are even reported prices and codenames to go with them.

Apparently labelled “Ogden” and “Orren” respectively, the Starfield controller is supposed to retail at $79.99 USD and the headset at $124.99, and both should be announced at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 12th. Even more surprising, rather than wait for the game’s launch on September 6, it’s claimed these new accessories might drop on the day they’re announced.

There was no confirmation that the designs of these new accessories would match that early “leak” but it’s certainly looking more plausible again.
