With Xbox Game Pass Core’s launchjust about to kick off, Microsoft has finally revealed the full list of titles that will be available to subscribers on the brand-new replacement membership for Xbox Live Gold.
As a reminder, Xbox Live Gold is being phased out and replaced with Xbox Game Pass Core, which carries the same benefits in addition to a starter library of Xbox Game Pass games which is smaller and will be updated less frequently than the full library available to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
What Games Are Included With Xbox Game Pass Core?
A total of 36 games have been revealed as being available to Xbox Game Pass Core when the service launches in the next day or so, with a decent mix of indie and AAA bangers. Microsoft says this list will be updated around 2-3 times a year, so this should pretty much be it for the next few months at least:
Naturally, you’ll still also get all of the benefits you’d expect from what used to be Xbox Live Gold, including online multiplayer, but also comes with some components of the Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate tiers, including Game Pass member deals and discounts and naturally the list of games above.
How Much Does Xbox Game Pass Core Cost?
Replacing the current Xbox Live Gold pricing, Xbox Game Pass Core will cost $10.95 AUD per month or $79.95 for a prepaid yearly subscription.
What Happens To My Xbox Games With Gold Titles?
Previous Xbox Live Gold subscribers who have redeemed Xbox One titles through the monthly Games With Gold will continue to have access to them for as long as they remain a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate member, and any Xbox 360 titles redeemed via GWG will be kept in players’ libraries permanently.
