Watching this is definitely different to your review – in the review it was like you really weren’t enjoying it – but with the video it’s like you’ve got the xcom itch. That itch that no matter how much you die and struggle, you need to complete it. It’s that same thing games like Dark Souls manage to do so well. Suck the player into the challenge.
You’d be exactly right there. I am starting to enjoy it more now, whereas at the time of writing my review, I was overly frustrated. Expect the updated review to reflect just that.
