Microsoft has announced that in the first quarter of the 2015 fiscal year the company has sold 2.4 million Xbox unite to consumers from July to September. This includes both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One hardware platforms.
Contributing to Microsoft’s $23.20 billion US quarterly revenue, they without a doubt have had quite a succesful quarter, with mobile devices contributing in large quantities to the grand total as well.
After such a succesful summer the Xbox One platform has a blockbuster holiday ahead of it, including titles such as; Sunset overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 and the Halo Master Chief Collection. These new exclusive titles should have Microsoft see another increase in sales, along with the third party games and bundles that will also be available on the platform later this holiday.
