Blizzard have teased the next character to join Overwatch with a tweet detailing an in-universe weapons document. The tweet presents a weapon that has supposedly been created by Mercy and Tororbjorn. The note suggests that it was originally created as a biotic device, until modifications turned it into a deadly sniper rifle.
Whilst we haven’t seen any of the actual hero, a grappling hook and what appears to be a grenade load out is also displayed.
I wouldn’t expect that it’ll be too long before we see this character fully revealed. With Overwatch Competitive Play launching in the last week, Blizzard will want to keep a steady flow of content happening for the millions of players who are still obsessed with Overwatch.
