All Of EA’s Announcements At E3

So, EA Play has come and gone and there’s been a whole lot to chew on. There were a few surprises — not all good, of course — along with a heap of stuff we’ve been looking forward to seeing more of.

Let’s get right into the key announcements from EA’s conference.


Battlefield V Will Feature A Battle Royale Mode

“DICE took the stage to kick off EA’s E3 event, EA Play. Not only did they detail their new features coming to Battlefield V, they dropped the bombshell that Battlefield V will indeed feature a battle royale mode called ‘Royale’ for now.”

Prepare To Survive The ‘Dark Times’ In Jedi: Fallen Order

“Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment was sat in the crowd during EA’s E3 press conference and although adamant they weren’t quite ready to show off the game, gave a tease as what to expect.”

Adorable Little Yarny Returns In Unravel Two, Available Now

“A game about fresh starts and second chances, inspired by ‘optimism’ and ‘togetherness’. You can play the game in co-op or solo, but two characters feature regardless and must navigate the world together.”

Battlefront II Is Going To Feature The Clone Wars

“DICE has announced during their Star Wars segment that there’s a lot of changes coming to Battlefront II. After conceding that the game experienced a rocky launch, they laid out their plans for the future of the title.”

Sea Of Solitude Is Set To Join EA Originals Roster

“After the Josef Fares crime thriller A Way Out caught fire this year, it’s no surprise that EA has again doubled down on the EA Originals program, revealing a new title from a small indie studio out of Berlin.”

NBA Live 19 and Madden NFL Revealed With Trailers

“NBA LIVE 19 will see you travelling about the world, creating your own players to rise to ‘legendary status’ on the world’s most respected courts in the league and on the streets. NBA LIVE 19 boasts new gameplay innovation including Real Player Motion Tech and new ways to develop your player.”

There’s A New Command & Conquer Game, But It’s For Mobile

“There was a collective gasp as Redwood Studios took the stage during EA Play when it became apparent a new Command & Conquer game was on its way. This was followed by a collective sigh as the masses realised it was a mobile game.”

Anthem Looks Totally Awesome And Is Out In February

“The game looks similar to the likes of Destiny and the Division in that is is a ‘shared world’ where players experience the same thing – such as weather effects – concurrently. You can experience the story solo, although it is more challenging and encourages co-operative play.”
