Titled the April 2014 Feature Pack, Arena Net have stated that the pack will focus solely on in-game features.
What they plan to bring to the table is apparently too great to just announce in a single blog or video, but in the brief post by lead developer Colin Johanson, he touched on balance updates and improving current gameplay systems. They also plan to overhaul their trait system by adding in a new horizontal progression system.
The April 2014 Feature Pack is scheduled to release on April 15th.
