Nintendo closed out their Nintendo Direct by giving our first look at Bayonetta 3 in action. Thankfully, the game still very much exists and it looks electric.
Though the tone felt a bit off at first before our hairy heroine appeared on screen, the gameplay demo soon leaned into the familiar flair and style that the series has long been known for. Interestingly, it appears that Bayonetta’s summons, Infernal Demons, now play an active part in combat, which appears to be a first for the series.
Unfortunately, no iron-clad release date was served up by Nintendo, though at least we’ve got some confirmation that it’s releasing next year.
