The folks over at Devolver Digital, in a way that only the folks over at Devolver Digital could do, have revealed a brand-new digital showcase set to premiere tonight (depending on your definition of tonight) with nothing but game delay announcements.
Appropriately dubbed Devolver Delayed, the showcase will run for a svelte three minutes, and cover off seemingly multiple Devolver joints being pushed back into 2024.
Devolver’s got a number of titles currently slated with 2023 release windows, including Gunbrella, The Plucky Squire, Wizard With A Gun, Skate Story, Pepper Grinder and The Talos Principle II, along with Neva, Anger Foot, Baby Steps, Human Fall Flat 2, KarmaZoo and Stick It To The Stickman beyond that. Plenty of opportunities for exciting delays, then.
You’ll be able to catch the Devolver Delayed at the below times in Aussie time zones:
Devolver Delayed Showcase Australian Times – August 8th
- 1.00 AM (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
- 12.30 AM (Adelaide, Darwin)

We recently had a chat to the folks at Gato Roboto, who are hard at work on Gunbrella – the game about a gun umbrella – who gave us some great insight into its development, design and how the concept came about. You can read that here.
You can also read our hands-on preview of the game right here, where we said, “The garish attire of the parasol police unit, the surreal creature design, and the many environments tirelessly pull along what is ultimately a pretty weird, yet spectacularly designed, game,” and “Gunbrella could be yet another indie surprise packet in a year that’s already had plenty and is forecast for more. When it comes to this year’s indie gems, when it rains it pours—so don’t forget a brolly. Just don’t blow your foot off.”
