Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaked

The First GTA 6 Trailer Could Drop As Early As This Week

Confirmed.

Update 27/11: With December 1st fast approaching this Friday (time, am I right?), it’s a good time to remember that we’re finally entering “the first ever trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 could drop at any moment” territory.

After Rockstar confirmed that we would indeed be seeing the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto in early December, we’re still no closer to narrowing that down to a day or time, but if not this coming weekend then it’s almost a shoo-in for a classic Keighley World Premiere at next week’s The Game Awards event.

Stay glued to your screens is all I’m saying, GTA fans.

Update: And there it is! Rockstar has confirmed the reports and revealed on social media that we will be seeing the very first trailer for “the next Grand Theft Auto” in early December.

Original Story: We might be very close to finally seeing Grand Theft Auto VI for the first time, at least in an official way, very soon.

That’s according to Bloomberg’s resident industry reporter, Jason Schreier, who claims that Rockstar plans to formally announce the game as early as this week, ahead of publishing a trailer in December as part of celebrations of the publisher’s 24th anniversary.

The claims come from unnamed sources allegedly familiar with Rockstar’s plans, so there is naturally a degree of scepticism to be had here as Rockstar hasn’t commented on or confirmed anything, but Schreier and Bloomberg’s reporting is generally accepted to be of a high enough standard that we can likely bank on this being real.

Of course, despite the lack of any actual trailers or real concrete details around the game from Rockstar themselves, there have been plenty of high-profile leaks showing portions of the game in development and spilling plenty of story and gameplay details ahead of time, so some of the surprise is already gone – but whatever Rockstar does drop is sure to make waves among the gaming community as GTA VI remains one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the future just by virtue of the franchise it exists within.

The last bout of major speculation around Grand Theft Auto VI came as Rockstar parent company Take-Two’s own financial reporting hinted that it has big things in store for its next financial year, after it said:

“Looking ahead, Fiscal 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our Company. For the last several years, we have been preparing our business to release an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that we believe will take our company to even greater levels of success.

“In Fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow. We expect to sustain this momentum by delivering even higher levels of operating results in Fiscal 2026 and beyond.”
