Here’s When Suicide Squad Players Will Be Able To Play As The Joker

We live (service) in a society.

WB Games and Rocksteady have revealed the premiere date of the first of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s free seasons.

Launching on March 28th, the first season will offer players new places to explore, new bosses and enemies to fight and new free and paid battle passes to complete, along with new playable characters – and in the case of this first season it’s The Joker himself. Or, at least an “Elseworlds” variant of him.

The studio still hasn’t divulged a whole lot about how Joker will play or what the season will entail in its entirety, but given it’s a few weeks away we’ll no doubt hear more soon. Rocksteady’s roadmap shows there’ll be at least three more seasonal content updates after this one, but it’s hard to say if it’ll extend beyond that, especially after Warner Bros. earlier comments around the game not meeting its expectations.

We gave Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League a 5.5/10 in our review, with James saying, “Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a serviceable action game bogged down by an insistence on being a live service title. While the characters are well written and the comedy is on point, a handful of repetitive objective types betray the intentions of an otherwise strong combat system. There is potential here – perhaps over time, Suicide Squad can evolve into something better – but for now, it’s something that only absolute diehards will enjoy, and even then, that’s not a guarantee.”
