Disco Elysium Is Heading To Nintendo Switch

Hot on the heels of picking up three gongs at the recent BAFTA Game Awards, it’s been revealed that Disco Elysium, the alcohol-fueled, drug-induced detective epic, is headed for the Nintendo Switch.

The announcement came by way of a couple of off the cuff comments by the game’s art director Aleksander Rostov and narrative lead Helen Hindpere who took time to discuss the game on BBC’s Game On podcast.

“This interview is, at this very moment, interrupting me from writing up design documentation for the user interface and input systems for the Switch port,” Rostov said, only for Hindpere to add that development on the much-anticipated port would happen “soon”.

Given the game’s critical acclaim so far, along with the fact it picked up Best Debut, Best Music and Best Narrative at the aforementioned BAFTAs, it’s exciting that even more gamers will have the opportunity to experience Disco Elysium.

Disco Elysium originally released for PC last year, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports already in the works.
