It’s been completed for a little while now, but we now know that Super Mario World will open on February 4th at Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan. Its original July opening was delayed after COVID hit.
We now have details about the much-anticipated Mario Kart ride as well. It’s called Koopa’s Challenge and uses AR headsets to help guide you through courses such as a Bowser’s Castle, an underwater level, Rainbow road and a spooky area. Each kart will seat four people and it seems as though you’ll be racing against another kart.
Most of the ride will be on rails, but you will have some control over the kart and be able to use items in order to give yourself the best chance of winning.
