After a weekend full of teases, The Pokemon Company has announced Gimmighoul which is a new coin chest Pokemon that will be appearing in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet (and potentially Pokemon GO as well).
It appears that it will be in two forms: one that appears inside a chest and one that roams freely throughout the world (but this seems to be a lot more mysterious).
The Pokemon first appeared in Pokemon GO over the weekend, with it following players around the map, but it wasn’t catchable.
It’s pretty clear that catching this one is likely to be a mystery with the official website calling out that “Professor Willow and Mr. Jacq are investigating this Pokémon and the many mysteries that still surround it.”
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet release on November 18th exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
