The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Will Include Two Handy Features To Make Cooking Easier

Let him cook.

It feels strange that, just days out from release and with a lengthy hands-on preview of the game under our belts, there’s still a whole lot of unknowns when it comes to Nintendo’s massive new epic sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

At least one super helpful new feature has come to light recently though, with Nintendo showing off new Recipe Cards in a recent tweet, giving players an in-game guide to recipes that (presumably) they’ve discovered in their journeys. This will help massively in comparison to Breath of the Wild, where the closest thing players had to a record of recipes they’d come up with was inspecting each food/meal individually and looking at the items used in their creation.

The tweet, which you can see below, shows off a handful of in-game recipes including Meat and Seafood Fry, Steamed Mushrooms and Pepper Steak – some neat little starter meals to get you going on your adventure:

On top of making recipes easier to catalogue, Tears of the Kingdom is also making it easier to prepare food on the go with the new Portable Pot. One of the Zonai devices that we were able to try out in our recent hands-on preview, link can carry around an inventory of these single-use pots and drop one wherever he likes to quickly cook up a meal. It’ll definitely come in handy for anyone that finds themselves stuck in a dangerous or environmentally unfriendly place and in need of stat-boosting grub in a pinch.
