Nintendo Has Revealed That Bowser Prefers More Trunk In The Junk

Wowser.

Nintendo has rocked the internet today with an unexpected revelation in the lead-up to the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

With its second in a series of short, animated promo spots for the game, Nintendo’s managed to confirm that iconic series antagonist, Bowser, likes his Peaches juicy. The video shows Bowser up to his usual antics in trying to woo Princess Peach, while she casually brushes him off (slay) and instead turns her attention to the new Elephant Fruit power-up that’s become a defining feature of the yet-to-be released new Mario platformer.

Upon using the power-up to transform into Elephant Peach, well, the results speak for themselves:

Yeah, there’s going to some very questionable fan art out of this one.

We recently shared a preview of a chunk of hands-on time with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, saying, “Super Mario Bros. Wonder has done more than impress me. It’s made me start to anticipate 2D Mario games more than ever. I’ve always enjoyed dipping my toes in the 2D Mario pool from time to time. Now I’m ready to spend hours there wholly submerged. It’s shaping up to be something truly worthy of its title – a true wonder to behold.”

Super Mario Bros. Wonder launches on October 20th, 2023 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Amazon has physical pre-orders for $69 including shipping.
