Battlefield 2042 Will Support 128 Player Matches On PS5/Xbox Series X/PC And 64 Players On PS4/Xbox One

Following its announcement today, DICE has confirmed Battlefield 2042 will support 128 player servers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles and PC.

Some of the maps included in the game will be the biggest in the series’ history, with dynamic weather events sparking chaos across an array of areas.

It was also confirmed that players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles will have 64 player servers and a more dialled in experience – with maps being a bit smaller with a focussed layout that will cater for the smaller player count.

Battlefield 2042 launches on October 22, 2021 and will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. We’ve got way, way more on Battlefield 2042 right HERE.
