Iron Man Game

EA Has Confirmed It’s Developing At Least Three New Marvel Action Adventure Titles

Starting with Iron Man

Back in September, EA announced that EA Motive (Dead Space/Star Wars Squadrons) is currently developing a single-player, third-person, action adventure Iron Man game. At the time, we knew it wasn’t to be the only Marvel title developed in partnership with EA, but the publishing giant has since added some clarification to future developments.

In a statement on its official website, EA has announced that its new “long-term” deal with Marvel will cover at least three new action-adventure games based on Marvel IP to be released on consoles and PC. Each game will reportedly be an original story set in the Marvel universe.

“We have been long-time fans of Marvel and their impressive leadership, so this is a remarkable moment for our developers as well as our players and fans. We look forward to welcoming Marvel into the EA family of creators and know this collaboration will produce exceptional experiences for our players. We can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they suit up as Iron Man and do the extraordinary things this Super Hero is known for.”

The first title, the already-announced Iron Man game, is set to empower players to feel what it’s like to be Iron Man as well as tap into the rich character of Tony Stark. The game’s development team is headed up by Olivier Proulx who recently acted as producer on the excellent Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
