Atomic Heart’s Latest Trailer Stars Jensen Ackles And Takes A Potshot At Hogwarts Legacy

Do it "The Atomic Way"

Atomic Heart, the highly-anticipated first person action RPG from Mundfish, is coming very near to its February 21st release date and the marketing cycle is kicking in full gear.

In keeping with the game’s irreverent tone, the latest promotional trailer takes an opportunity to riff on one of its peers amongst the stacked video game release month that is February 2023. It shows a child in wizard robes unsuccessfully casting spells at a training dummy before none other than The Boys and Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles show up to explain that only “The Atomic Way” will save them from the robot revolution, throwing a series of melee attacks and sci-fi powers at the dummies in grisly fashion.

“The release of Atomic Heart, the hotly anticipated action-RPG set in the mad utopia of a fictional 1955 USSR, is finally within sight! We would like to celebrate the final stage of the countdown with a new video starring The Boys and Supernatural star Jensen Ackles. Join him in bringing your A game for the most Atomic release of 2023!”

We recently went hands-on with Atomic Heart and came away impressed, saying “I came into the preview session believing Atomic Heart would be a short and sharp technical showcase, almost a fleeting demonstration of the developer’s ability to ship a lavish, expensive looking title if someone bet on them to do something bigger. Mundfish bet on themselves long ago and Atomic Heart, as it exists, is testament to that. There’s so much more to Atomic Heart than meets the eye and I am all too excited to comb this high-tech wasteland when the game launches next month.”

Atomic Heart is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on February 21st, 2023.
