Square Enix and Luminous Productions have announced In Tanta We Trust, the upcoming DLC expansion for this year’s divisive open-world action RPG, Forspoken.
The expansion will take players back 25 years before the events of the base game, with main character Frey Holland finding herself transported to the past and amidst the pivotal Purge of the Rheddig, a battle that tore the land of Athia apart and became the catalyst to the corruption of the Tantas.

In the DLC, players will find themselves allied with Tanta Cinta, battling alongside her and coordinating with Freya’s arsenal of magical spells to create new and devastating combos.
In Tanta We Trust is launching on May 26th for anyone who owns the game on PS5 or PC and purchases the DLC separately, or for anyone who previously purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game it’ll be included and arrive three days earlier on May 23rd.

The story and open world may fall victim to the pitfalls of its genre and the largely formulaic side quest design only shines occasionally, but it’s an overall satisfying and well-crafted action RPG with fast-paced and energetic gameplay.”
