CD Projekt has announced that it’s bringing a new version of Cyberpunk 2077 to both digital and physical stores, with the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition. This new package will contain both the game, naturally including all of its updates right up to the recently-released and game-changing Update 2.0, along with the highly-celebrated Phantom Liberty Expansion.

Feel more with PS5. Beyond the everyday. Beyond extraordinary. Even beyond imagination. Feel it now.
The Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available starting on December 5th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with no word yet on local Aussie retail availability for the physical version.
Curiously, VGC reports that while the physical Xbox Series X version will ship across three discs containing every bit of content, the PS5 copy will only contain the base game with the Phantom Liberty expansion requiring an extra download. For its part, CD Projekt has apparently claimed that this is due to how the different platforms manage the content.
Big news… Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition arrives on December 5th in digital AND physical form for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC!

We scored the game’s Phantom Liberty expansion (along with its 2.0 update) a huge 10/10 in our review, saying “On the back of Phantom Liberty, along with a really substantial rebuild of all of the game’s core systems, Cyberpunk 2077 manages to wash its hands of its past failures and emerges as the genuine article. At last, it’s the intoxicating escape I once thought it was and stands out, to me, as the premiere role-playing resort in what might very well be a modern golden age for the genre.”
