Helldivers 2 Has Confirmed Crossplay Support Along With A New Trailer

Keen for this!

PlayStation has published some new information around the exciting upcoming cooperative shooter, Helldivers 2, including a deeper look at the PC features and required hardware specs as well as the confirmation that crossplay support between PS5 and PC will be in the game at launch on February 8th.

You can see the four tiers of suggested PC specifications for the game below, which seems to be a decent spread that’ll allow players with even modest rigs to run the game while those at the top end will be able to push it to its fullest. For the most part you’ll want to be rocking at least a NVIDIA 20XX series GPU and 9th gen or newer Intel i7 CPU but it looks like you can get away with less in a pinch. 16GB of RAM and an SSD with 100GB of free storage are the sweet spot but again it seems like chucking the game on its lowest settings will have it running well enough on less:

A new “PC features” trailer has also dropped that seemingly doesn’t highlight many actual PC features aside from the aforementioned crossplay, up to 4K resolution and controller/KBM support, but it does continue to look like an absolute blast:

Helldivers 2 launches on February 8th for PS5 and PC. You can pre-order the physical version on Amazon here for $59 or wishlist the game digitally on the PlayStation Store here or on Steam here.
