Are you hyped for Helldivers 2? I reckon you should be. Developer Arrowhead is pushing the core ideas introduced in its beloved isometric multiplayer alien shooter, including the distinctly Starship Troopers-esque vibe to new levels with a slick-looking third person cooperative experience.
The best part is, release is just around the corner on February 8th and the game itself has officially gone gold. That means that the folks at Arrowhead have essentially finished core development on the game and it’s ready to be beamed to digital storefront servers, though no doubt awaiting some pre-launch and day one updates to ensure as smooth an experience as possible.

Along with announcing the game is ready to go, the studio also dropped a great new trailer which doubles down on that tongue-in-cheek, chaotic sci-fi vibe while stressing the idea that teamwork is tantamount to making this particular dream work.
