We’ve been long anticipating Xbox handheld a well as the ASUS ROG Ally 2 and it looks like both handhelds look to have leaked thanks to the United States FCC.
As reported by Videocardz, two handhelds, that both look identical outside from their colour and one having an Xbox button have appeared on the FCC website.
It’s expected that the white model is the ASUS ROG Ally 2 and sports improved ergonomics as well as a brand new button in the top left as well as a black model that looks to be the new Xbox handheld with Xbox branding and the Xbox button that will presumably bring up the overlay or take you to the Xbox app.
It also looks like the ASUS ROG Ally 2 will have the same back buttons as the Ally X and it also looks to have two USB-C ports as well which isn’t hugely surprising.
It’s said that the Black Xbox model is using an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme with 64GB of ram which would make it extremely powerful and it’s said that the white model is using an AMD 4-core 20W AMD Aerith Plus CPU.
It also looks like the console will be quite a bit thicker than the current Ally handhelds which is why the ergonomics have changed quite significantly.
It’s unclear when the new Xbox handheld and the ASUS ROG Ally 2 will be revealed, but my bets are on Computex which is happening in a few weeks or at Summer Games Fest which is happening at the start of June.
