Xbox Took Over The Las Vegas Sphere And Now I Want To Play Games On It

No screen cheating.

Xbox has gone all-out in launching its new “Power Your Dreams” campaign, taking over the Las Vegas Sphere with some iconic imagery and incredible views of its games and hardware at an absolutely enormous scale.

In case you’ve somehow missed it, the Las Vegas Sphere project was completed in September this year and opened as an entertainment venue with Irish band, U2, playing the first-ever shows. The sphere features a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, speakers with beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies, and 4D physical effects on the inside, but also has 54,000 square metres of exterior LED displays that can be used for the kinds of astonishing, 3D showcases of art and marketing like the below:

VP of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, also shared some looks of the display “from home,” which has really motivated me to somehow amass an obscene amount of money to pay the Sphere people to let me play video games on it from across the city.

It’s not quite “giant ball of marketing in Las Vegas” levels of cool, but the actual promo spot for the Power Your Dreams campaign is also worth a look, featuring some very cool live-action takes on legendary Xbox games. Check it out below:
