PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Is Coming To Mobile

Chinese tech giant Tencent has revealed that it has formed a partnership with Bluehole to bring PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to mobile devices. This is in addition to them helping bring the game to China. It’s unclear if this will be a fully fledged version of the game, or just a lite version with the same name.

PUBG is probably the biggest new game franchise in the last 5 or so years, and this is without it officially releasing. It’s insane to think what it could do once it comes to consoles, mobile and massive Asian markets.

The game releases on Xbox One on December 12th, so it’ll be interesting to see how quickly it takes off on that platform.

Thanks, Gameindustry.
