Jennifer Coolidge Is Joining Jack Black And Jason Momoa In The Minecraft Movie

Triple Js.

The Minecraft movie has been steadily amassing an all-star cast that includes the likes of Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and now it’s picked up a very recent Emmy winner and absolutely superstar for the ride.

Deadline reports that Jennifer Coolidge, who’s just come off of her second Primetime Emmy win for her role in the second season of HBO’s The White Lotus, has joined the film which is due to premiere in cinemas on April 4th, 2025.

Aside from the date and that it’s currently filming in New Zealand, we still don’t know a whole lot else about the Minecraft movie, including who Coolidge or any of the other stars will actually be playing. The film’s official synopsis simply reads, “The malevolent Ender Dragon sets out on a path of destruction, prompting a young girl and her group of unlikely adventurers to set out to save the Overworld.”
