Devolver Digital has this morning revealed their upcoming and very wholesome 10-player co-op platformer, KarmaZoo. It has been developed by French developer Pastagames and has been described as “a game for nice people”.
Focused on connection, collaboration and general togetherness, KarmaZoo will see its players reach nirvana, the Hindu state of enlightenment, through good deeds, working together, and making their way through the game’s Loop mode as a number of the game’s adorable, pixel-art avatars.
The game will also offer Totem mode, which is more geared towards those with something to prove. It pits up to eight players against one another in a series of rapid quickfire mini-games that really seems to bring the Mario Party vibes.
We got a chance to earn a bit of karma during a hands-on preview which can be read here.
KarmaZoo will feature cross-platform support between consoles and PC when it releases in 2023.
